Calacatta Viola Marble Sinks

Calacatta Viola is the stone people search for by name. Deep burgundy and violet veins move across a cream-white ground in a pattern that no two blocks repeat, and it has become the defining material of the current wave of stone bathrooms. It is also genuinely scarce — the quarry yield is low, and much of what circulates online is printed porcelain rather than stone.

Everything in this collection is solid Calacatta Viola, carved from a single block. Nothing here is veneered onto a substrate or colour-enhanced.

The range

Two square basins at 15.7 and 16 inches suit compact vanities and cloakrooms where the stone is meant to be the only decorative move in the room. The Viola Calacatta Oval Sink softens the same material for traditional joinery. The 24-inch compact and 35.8-inch pieces step up to full bathroom scale, and the wall-mount and custom listings are cut to order in any width from 16 to 40 inches with a carved backsplash from the same block.

Matching a bathroom around it

Viola reads warm, so unlacquered brass and antique bronze tapware sit more comfortably with it than chrome. Because the veining is high-contrast, a plain wall finish behind the basin usually works better than patterned tile. If you are matching a countertop or shower slab to the basin, tell us at the order stage — we can cut both from adjacent blocks so the veining runs consistently.

Each basin is sealed before it leaves the workshop. Reseal annually and keep acids off the surface. Production time is listed per product, US shipping is free, and every piece is crated for freight.
