Calacatta Marble Sinks

Calacatta is the most demanding stone we carve. The blocks are expensive, the veining is unrepeatable, and a single misread of the grain ruins the piece. That is why this collection stays small: twelve basins, each one laid out by hand so the vein lands where it should on the finished bowl rather than wherever the saw happened to fall.

Three families sit here. Calacatta Viola carries burgundy and purple veining across a cream ground — the boldest stone in our catalogue and the one customers most often build a whole bathroom around. Calacatta Gold runs warmer, with amber and grey veins on white. Classic Calacatta is the quietest of the three, closer to a cool white with grey movement.

Vessel or wall-mount

Several pieces in this collection — the Calacatta Viola, Calacatta Gold and Calacatta wall-mount basins — are made to order in widths from 16 to 40 inches, with a matching backsplash carved from the same block. A wall-mounted stone basin at these weights needs blocking behind the plasterboard; our Wall Mount Bracket fixes into 2x4 studs and is sold separately. If your wall build-up will not take it, the vessel pieces sit on any counter that can carry the load.

Why no two are alike

We photograph the block, not a render. When you order a made-to-order width, the vein pattern you receive comes from the next block in sequence and will differ from the listing images. Buyers who want the exact slab shown should contact us before ordering so we can reserve it.

Every basin is finished in our Denizli workshop, crated individually and shipped free within the United States. Production time is stated on each product page; Calacatta pieces sit at the longer end of our range because the layout stage cannot be rushed.
