Every piece is cut from natural stone. Colour, veining and pattern vary from block to block, so the piece you receive will not match the photographs exactly — that variation is the material, not a defect. Small filled pits and tonal shifts are normal in marble and travertine. If an exact tone matters to you, email info@brosmarble.com before ordering and we will photograph the actual piece we would ship.

This piece is heavy. Check that your vanity, counter or floor can carry the weight above before you order, and plan for two people at delivery. Full guidance is in the measurement & installation guide.

Where this piece comes from

  • Our own quarry. The block is selected in quarries we operate in Turkey and Italy, not bought finished from an importer. See the quarries.
  • Our own workshop. Cutting, carving and finishing all happen in Denizli. Nothing is subcontracted. How we make it.
  • Fifteen years of it. BROSMARBLE started as a mining business and still runs on that side of the trade. About us.

Transform your bathroom into a sanctuary of luxury with this handcrafted Calacatta marble bathtub. Featuring striking natural veining and a silky honed finish, each piece is a unique work of art carved from premium Calacatta marble.

The stone. Expect white, beige and brown through the stone. Every block is cut from a different part of the seam, so pattern and depth of color shift from one basin to the next.

Living with it. A one-piece stone bath has no seam to fail and no shell to flex. The trade-off is weight — check the floor structure before it is delivered. The interior is hand-finished to a smooth, low-glare surface. The exterior can be left with more of the block texture, depending on the piece.

What the photographs show. The frames here show the tub in a finished bathroom and against a plain background. A freestanding stone bath is very hard to judge from a swatch — the interior photographs are the ones that tell you how deep it actually is.

Looking after it. Avoid anything acidic or abrasive; a soft cloth and a neutral cleaner is all it needs. A yearly seal keeps water marking to a minimum.

Ordering. Priced at $15,000. Shipping is free within the United States from our Connecticut warehouse; the tub travels freight and needs two people to place. Returns are accepted within 30 days under our Refund Policy.

Delivery time

Production time. Almost every piece is natural stone cut and finished to order, so production is the largest part of the total. If a Delivery Time is shown above, that is the production time for this item; if none is shown, it ships from stock.

Transit. Counted after production: United States 3–4 business days · Canada and Mexico cross-border freight, with the expected delivery window confirmed by email at dispatch.

Total delivery time = production time + transit. We confirm the exact dispatch date by email after your order is placed.

We do not offer an expedited service — paying more does not shorten production. Fixed installation date? Email info@brosmarble.com before ordering. Full details: Shipping policy.

Measurement, installation & care

Natural stone is heavy and unforgiving of a bad measurement, so plan before you order.

Measure. Check the dimensions shown above against the space, and check the route in — doorways, stairs, lifts and turns. Confirm the floor, base or counter can carry the weight listed in the specifications.

Install. Use an installer experienced with natural stone. Plan for at least two people at delivery. Seal the surface before first use.

Care. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral soap. Do not use vinegar, lemon, bleach or any acidic or abrasive cleaner — these etch marble and travertine permanently. Re-seal periodically; wipe spills promptly.

Questions we are asked

Before you order

How heavy is it, and will my floor take it?

Our bathtubs are the heaviest pieces we make, and the number that matters is the filled weight, which is the tub plus the water plus the bather. The weight of the tub is in the Specifications block above. Have a structural engineer or your builder confirm the floor before you order, particularly above ground level.

Will it look exactly like the photographs?

No two blocks are alike, so the veining on your tub will be its own. For a made-to-order piece we photograph the block before cutting and wait for your approval.

What plumbing does it need?

A standard bath waste and trap. Because the tub cannot be adjusted on site, have your installer confirm the waste position against the piece before the floor is finished.

Does it need sealing?

Yes. Seal before first use and re-seal periodically. Avoid acidic or bleach-based cleaners and use a pH-neutral product.

How long will it take to arrive?

Bathtubs are made to order and the production window is shown on this page. Transit inside the United States is 3 to 4 business days after production, and shipping is free.

What happens if it arrives damaged?

Tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs. Full-value marble and freight insurance is available as an optional add-on and is worth considering on a piece this size.
