Every piece is cut from natural stone. Colour, veining and pattern vary from block to block, so the piece you receive will not match the photographs exactly — that variation is the material, not a defect. Small filled pits and tonal shifts are normal in marble and travertine. If an exact tone matters to you, email info@brosmarble.com before ordering and we will photograph the actual piece we would ship.

Mix Marble Mosaic 2x2 is a mesh-backed mosaic sheet, cut from natural marble quarried in Turkey and finished by hand in our own workshop. Chip format is 2x2. Chips sit on a straight grid, quiet enough to run the full height of a wall without fighting anything else in the room.
Surface and color. Chips are cut and calibrated, then hand-set on mesh to an even joint. The color range is gray, blue and black. Natural stone carries its own variation — that variation is the point, but it means you should buy the whole job at once. “Mix” is the variety name for this seam of marble; it is a color designation, not a different material.
The stone. The stone is cut wet on diamond saws, which is slower than dry cutting but leaves a cleaner arris on every chip. Marble is metamorphic and dense, which is what lets it take a crisp edge on a chip this small.
Where it works. It suits a full-height backsplash, a wet-room wall, an entry feature panel or the face of a fireplace chimney breast. For floor use, check the finish against the traffic the room actually takes.
Setting it. Seal after installation with a breathable impregnating sealer, and again every couple of years in a wet area. Set it on a flat, primed substrate with a white polymer-modified thin-set; gray adhesive can shadow through a light stone.
What the photographs show. The photographs show the sheet two ways. One frame is shot flat so you can read chip size, joint width and how the color is distributed. The rest show it installed at room scale, which is the only reliable way to judge how a small repeating pattern behaves across a large surface.

How is this sold?
By the sheet. Each sheet is mesh-backed natural stone and covers 0.97 square feet, and a box holds 10 sheets, so roughly 9.7 square feet. The coverage calculator on this page converts your room measurements into sheets and boxes.
How much should I order?
Measure the area, then add about 10% for cuts and breakage. The calculator on this page adds that allowance for you by default. Order the whole job at once: stone is quarried in batches and a later top-up may not match.
Can it be cut?
Yes, with a wet saw and a diamond blade. The mesh backing lets you cut between the pieces for straight runs and trim individual pieces for edges and corners.
Does it need sealing?
Yes. Natural stone is porous, so seal it after installation and before grouting if your installer recommends it, then re-seal periodically. Use a pH-neutral cleaner afterwards.
Will every sheet look the same?
No, and it should not. This is quarried stone, so tone and movement vary between sheets. Lay several sheets out dry and mix them before fixing so the variation is spread across the wall rather than concentrated in one corner.
How long will it take to arrive?
If a Delivery Time is shown on this page that is the production window; otherwise it ships from our United States inventory. Transit inside the United States is 3 to 4 business days and shipping is free.
What if a sheet arrives broken?
Tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will replace it. This is one reason to order the full quantity plus an allowance in a single order.
