Wall Mount Bracket for Sinks

This bracket is engineered for countertops and shelving ranging from 8″ to 32″, and is the recommended support for all shower benches.

The installation process for the Industrial Free Hanging Shelf Bracket® mirrors that of the Free Hanging Shelf Bracket. The key difference is that when finishing the drywall over the bracket you’ll remove a 1″ thick notch instead of a ½″ notch.

Floating shelves, floating bathroom vanities, floating mantels, floating desks, floating shower seats/benches — all can be supported by the Industrial Free Hanging Shelf Bracket®. This concealed mounting bracket offers the ideal support for a floating bathroom vanity or shelf. Crafted from industrial ribbed metal, it’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

This bracket is designed to mount directly to the 2×4 wood studs within your wall before drywall is applied. (If your studs are metal, please refer to the installation guidelines before inserting the Industrial Free Hanging Shelf Bracket.) To ensure maximum weight support, the bracket must be anchored into wood studs. We recommend securing to every 2×4 stud for optimal performance.

By anchoring both above and below the horizontal bar, the design prevents any twisting of the bracket arm. Once mounted, cover the wall with your preferred finish board.

Choosing the Proper Size Bracket

When measuring length, remember the horizontal arm is measured from tip to tip. Also include the portion of the brace that will sit behind the wall (typically around 3″). For example: if your vanity is 24″ wide, you would order a 24″ bracket — approximately 3″ sits inside the wall, leaving about 21″ protruding to support the vanity.
