Every piece is cut from natural stone. Colour, veining and pattern vary from block to block, so the piece you receive will not match the photographs exactly β€” that variation is the material, not a defect. Small filled pits and tonal shifts are normal in marble and travertine. If an exact tone matters to you, email info@brosmarble.com before ordering and we will photograph the actual piece we would ship.

This piece is heavy. Check that your vanity, counter or floor can carry the weight above before you order, and plan for two people at delivery. Full guidance is in the measurement & installation guide.

Where this piece comes from

  • Our own quarry. The block is selected in quarries we operate in Turkey and Italy, not bought finished from an importer. See the quarries.
  • Our own workshop. Cutting, carving and finishing all happen in Denizli. Nothing is subcontracted. How we make it.
  • Fifteen years of it. BROSMARBLE started as a mining business and still runs on that side of the trade. About us.

Experience timeless Italian elegance with our Viola Calacatta Oval Marble Sink, handcrafted from genuine natural stone.
Each piece features the unique deep purple and white veining characteristic of the Viola Calacatta marble, making every sink truly one of a kind.

The smooth oval silhouette blends classic luxury with modern minimalism β€” perfect for bathrooms that value both artistry and function.

  • Material: 100% Natural Viola Calacatta Marble
  • Shape: Oval
  • Finish: Hand-polished surface for a soft natural shine
  • Drain Hole: Standard size compatible with most drain fittings
  • Installation: Vessel mount
  • Use: Indoor bathroom or powder room sink

Each sink is crafted by skilled artisans with precision and care, ensuring durability and lasting beauty.
Due to the natural variation of marble, color tones and veining may slightly differ β€” this is what makes every piece uniquely yours.

Custom dimensions or design requests can be discussed via email before placing your order.

Please Note: Calacatta Viola is a natural stone. Color, veining, and texture will vary, adding to its authenticity and character.

The stone. The stone sits in the natural stone tones range. Movement in the veining is natural and is the reason people choose stone over ceramic in the first place. Carved from a single block of Calacatta marble in our Denizli workshop β€” no casting, no veneer, no resin filler.

Sizes. 2 size options are listed in the Size menu.

Fitting it. This is an above-counter basin. Pair it with a vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout, and remember the combined vanity plus basin height is what the user actually feels.

What the photographs show. The photographs show the basin installed on a real vanity, which is the only honest way to judge scale β€” a stone basin always looks smaller in a studio frame than it does in a room.

Looking after it. Wipe it down with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner. Keep acids off it β€” lemon, vinegar, descaler and most bathroom sprays will etch natural stone.

Ordering. Priced $850 to $1,000 depending on size. Production time is 1–4 weeks. Shipping weight is roughly 77 lb, so it travels freight rather than parcel. Shipping is free within the United States from our Connecticut warehouse. Returns are accepted within 30 days under our Refund Policy.

Delivery time

Production time. Almost every piece is natural stone cut and finished to order, so production is the largest part of the total. If a Delivery Time is shown above, that is the production time for this item; if none is shown, it ships from stock.

Transit. Counted after production: United States 3–4 business days Β· Canada and Mexico cross-border freight, with the expected delivery window confirmed by email at dispatch.

Total delivery time = production time + transit. We confirm the exact dispatch date by email after your order is placed.

We do not offer an expedited service β€” paying more does not shorten production. Fixed installation date? Email info@brosmarble.com before ordering. Full details: Shipping policy.

Measurement, installation & care

Natural stone is heavy and unforgiving of a bad measurement, so plan before you order.

Measure. Check the dimensions shown above against the space, and check the route in β€” doorways, stairs, lifts and turns. Confirm the floor, base or counter can carry the weight listed in the specifications.

Install. Use an installer experienced with natural stone. Plan for at least two people at delivery. Seal the surface before first use.

Care. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral soap. Do not use vinegar, lemon, bleach or any acidic or abrasive cleaner β€” these etch marble and travertine permanently. Re-seal periodically; wipe spills promptly.

Questions we are asked

Before you order

Will my piece look exactly like the photographs?

Not exactly, and that is the point. Every basin is cut from a solid block of natural stone, so the veining is decided by geology rather than by us. For a made-to-order piece we photograph the actual block before we start cutting and wait for your approval, so what you see is your stone rather than a sample. Ask us at any point and we will send photographs.

What should I check before I order?

Three things. The width of the vanity or countertop the basin will sit on. The height you want the rim to finish at, which for a counter-top basin means adding the basin height to the vanity height. And the tap, which has to be tall enough to clear the rim. Every dimension for this piece is in the Specifications block above.

How much does it weigh?

It varies a lot: our basins run from about 8 kg for the smallest travertine bowls up to 160 kg for the largest pedestal, and most sit between 12 kg and 60 kg. The exact weight of this piece is listed in the Specifications block above. Plan the support and the lift before delivery day, and have a second pair of hands there.

Does it fit standard plumbing?

It fits most standard setups. Ask your installer to offer the waste and trap up to the piece before fitting rather than after, since stone cannot be adjusted on site the way a ceramic basin can.

Does marble need sealing?

Yes. Seal it before first use and re-seal periodically. A sealed surface resists marking from soap, cosmetics and anything acidic. Wipe spills rather than leaving them to sit, and use a pH-neutral cleaner rather than anything containing acid or bleach.

How long will it take to arrive?

Production first, then transit. If a Delivery Time is shown on this page, that is the production window for this piece; if none is shown it ships from our United States inventory. Transit is 3 to 4 business days inside the United States, and shipping within the US is free.

Can you make it to my dimensions?

Yes. Send us your measurements and we will quote the piece and give you a production window in writing before anything is cut.

What happens if it arrives damaged?

Tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will put it right. Full-value marble and freight insurance is available as an optional add-on if you would rather have the transit covered outright.

Can I return it?

Within 30 days, yes. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and a 25% restocking fee applies. Custom and personalised pieces cannot be returned. Exchanges are available. The full terms are in our refund policy.
