Emperador describes the tone of this marble, not a treatment applied to it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe stone.\u003c\/strong\u003e The stone is cut wet on diamond saws, which is slower than dry cutting but leaves a cleaner arris on every chip. Marble is metamorphic and dense, which is what lets it take a crisp edge on a chip this small.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhere it works.\u003c\/strong\u003e It suits a full-height backsplash, a wet-room wall, an entry feature panel or the face of a fireplace chimney breast. For floor use, check the finish against the traffic the room actually takes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSetting it.\u003c\/strong\u003e Butter the wall rather than the sheet, keep the mesh dry, and align sheets by eye at the seam so the joint disappears.
